Wellness Wednesday: World Compliment Day

Please share with students:

Please join us for today’s Student Wellness Wednesday as we celebrate World Compliment Day. Today is a reminder of the power that kind words (to others and ourselves) have on our overall well-being.

World Compliment Day is all about spreading positivity, boosting confidence, and recognizing the small moments that make us feel seen and supported. Between busy schedules and academic stress, taking a moment to pause, connect, and share encouragement can make a meaningful difference in how we feel.

What’s Happening at This Event:

  • Give a Compliment, Take a Compliment Station – Take part in an interactive activity where you’re invited to share a kind word and receive one in return. Reflect on your strengths, uplift others, and experience how small moments of positivity can boost mood, confidence, and connection.
  • Wellness Activity – Enjoy a hands-on, creative activity designed to help you relax, unwind, and express gratitude through mindful reflection.
  • Therapy Dogs – Take a stress-relieving break with our therapy dogs, a comforting reminder that kindness and connection come in many forms
  • Wellness Resources – Learn simple strategies for building self-compassion, improving mental wellness, and incorporating small acts of kindness into your daily routine.
  • Feel-Good Giveaways – Pick up items that encourage positivity, self-care, and stress relief.

Lunch Provided!

These weekly events are your chance to pause, recharge, and focus on your well-being. Today, we invite you to celebrate kindness, connection, and the impact a genuine compliment can have on yourself and those around you.
