Big Kudos to George Cunningham, Downtown Campus Bookstore

We are incredibly grateful for George and the way he shows up for our students every single day. He creates a space that feels welcoming, calm, and genuinely supportive, which makes a real difference for students—especially those who may already be feeling overwhelmed or unsure. George greets each student with kindness, patience, and respect, and in doing so, he sends a clear message: you belong here. He has a steady, reassuring presence that turns what could be a stressful process into one that feels manageable and human. His care, consistency, and quiet compassion help build community in a very real way, and our Downtown Campus is better because of him. We are truly thankful for the warmth, dignity, and thoughtfulness he brings into the bookstore and into our students’ lives.
