2026 Honors Convocation

The 50th Honors Convocation ceremony is Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 3:00 pm in the MCC Theatre on the Brighton Campus. This event, hosted by Academic and Student Affairs, is a time to recognize graduating students with a 3.95 GPA or higher.  Faculty participation is needed.

Assembling instructions are as follows:

• Time:  All faculty and professional staff should gather by 2:30 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 pm.
• Gathering Locations for: 
• Faculty & professional staff will gather in room 5-100
• The Board of Trustees, President, Vice Presidents, & Deans will gather in room 12-113
• Student Honorees will gather in room 12-111
• Faculty Marshals will gather in room 12-109
• Attire: Academic Regalia
• Reception: A reception in the North Atrium will immediately follow the ceremony.
