Title II Training Now Available
Title II Digital Content Accessibility Committee is excited to announce that training is now available for the new accessibility standards set to take effect in April. The training provides a comprehensive overview of the new rules, including why they are being implemented, what they mean for everyone, and how you can prepare for the changes.
Our compliance with these accessibility rules reflects our core value of inclusiveness, creating an environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected. We understand ADA compliance has been frustrating and confusing for some. Still, with the help of this course and the work of the Title II Digital Content Accessibility Committee, we hope to make this process one of empowerment rather than discouragement.
The course, Access: A Quest Toward Inclusion, is available on Brightspace. It will take some time to complete, so we advise taking the course in small increments, aiming to complete it within a few weeks.
We know this training takes time out of your already busy schedules, and we appreciate your willingness to be part of this critical endeavor. With our help, we will ensure we have Equity in Every Edit!
Stay tuned after the break for updates on the committee’s progress, some tips and tricks for staying compliant with Title II, and what is available to help all of us reach our goal!
