The MCC Institute for the Humanities will sponsor a lecture by Chris Appleton, founder of Art Pharmacy, an organization addressing loneliness and mental health needs by making available arts-based opportunities that offer protective and therapeutic benefits.

Art Pharmacy links arts organizations, insurers, and health care providers to increase access to cultural events, expand the audience for arts and culture, and fill gaps in clinical and mental health care.
