Financial Aid Office Welcomes Priscilla Parker as Full-Time Financial Literacy Specialist
Please share with students:The Monroe Community College Financial Aid Office is excited to welcome Priscilla Parker as our new full-time Financial Literacy Specialist.
Priscilla has already made a meaningful impact on the MCC community through her work supporting students and promoting financial wellness. In her new full-time role, she will continue helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to make informed financial decisions throughout their academic journey and beyond.
As Financial Literacy Specialist, Priscilla will provide financial education and one-on-one coaching on topics such as budgeting, responsible borrowing, credit management, repayment strategies, and financial goal setting. She will also play a key role in expanding MCC's financial literacy initiatives, collaborating with campus partners, and creating opportunities for students to build lifelong financial skills.
"Priscilla's passion for helping students and her commitment to financial education make her an outstanding addition to our team," said Sylvia Mendez, Associate Director of Financial Aid. "We are thrilled to have her join us in this full-time capacity and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make on our students and the college community."
