Important information regarding the Financial Aid Freeze date

The Financial Aid Freeze date for the Fall 2026 semester is Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Anticipated financial aid award offers are calculated based on FACE (Financial Aid Course Eligibility) enrolled hours eligible towards a student's current degree program.

If a student anticipates receiving financial aid this Fall 2026 semester, they must be advised of the following:

  • They must confirm that they are officially registered and attending all classes.
  • The last “business” day to make changes to a schedule or change a major and have these actions count towards current financial aid compliance is Tuesday, September 22, 2026.   
  • Waitlisted courses do not count as registered courses for the term.
  • If a student chooses to add classes after the freeze date, know that these credits may not increase the financial aid offers for this semester. Email FACE (face@monroecc.edu) if a student adds courses after the freeze date for further assistance.

Students can view their class schedule and confirm that all registered courses show as FACE eligible in the myMCC portal, under Registration/Registration Compliance Results.
