MCC Daily Tribune

Records Management Function Transition and New Records Management Analyst

Please share with students:

In alignment with SUNY reporting structures for records management functions, the College has moved the Records Management function under the Institutional Compliance and Internal Audit Office purview.

With the departure of the College’s previous Records Management Analyst, Tim DeMersman, a search was conducted to fill the position. We are pleased to announce that Glenn Tolle has accepted the role of Records Management Analyst, effective July 20.

Glenn is a familiar face to many across the College. After graduating from MCC’s Creative Writing program, he joined the Archives and Records Management Department as a part-time Records Management Assistant. Over the past several years, Glenn has worked closely with the former Records Management Analyst,  in developing extensive knowledge of the College’s records management practices and requirements. Following a competitive hiring process, Glenn applied for and was selected for the analyst position.

Glenn’s interest in records and archives extends well beyond his professional responsibilities. From an early age, he developed a passion for historical documents, spending countless hours exploring letters and manuscripts preserved in his grandparents’ attic. Today, he enjoys collecting antiquarian books and ephemera and is an active member of The Ephemera Society of America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the study, appreciation, and preservation of historical paper artifacts and ephemera.

Glenn lives with his partner, two orange cats, one large dog, and an ever-growing collection of bookshelves.

Please join us in congratulating Glenn on his new role and welcoming him as MCC’s new Records Management Analyst. We look forward to working with him as he continues to support the College’s records management program and preservation efforts.

Sincerely,

Institutional Compliance and Internal Audit Office
