Dean, Academic Foundations - Re-Org Proposal
The Faculty Senate Special Committee on Administrative Affairs (SCAA) has received a proposal from Provost and Vice President Jacobs regarding the reorganization of the departments and programs currently overseen by the Dean of Academic Foundation. SCAA invites members of the college community to review the proposal and participate in one or more of the opportunities listed below to provide feedback. Please submitted feedback end of day, Sunday, January 12, 2026. Ways to engage:
- Particiate in the Discussion Board within the Senate Brightspace
- Reach out to any of the SCAA senators (see below) or email SCAA (scaa@monroecc.edu)
- Submit Open Forum questions ahead of time
- Bring your questions directly to an Open Forum
Open forums with Provost Jacobs:
- In person, Dec 18, 10-10:50 Monroe B, Brighton Campus
- Zoom, January 7, 2026 12-12:50pm (Zoom details to follow)
As per the Senate Bylaws, and Resolutions, SCAA will have five weeks to collect feedback on this proposal from the college community and provide a summary of the feedback and recommendations to the proposer. The proposer will then have two weeks to respond to the community’s feedback provided by SCAA. We look forward to partnering with the college community on this initiative.
