Passing of MCC Student Niranjan Kushwaha

I regret to inform you of the passing of MCC student Niranjan Kushwaha on August 11, 2026. Niranjan was a student in our Liberal Arts program at the Brighton Campus. We are saddened by the loss of a member of our college community.

Our hearts go out to Niranjan’s family, friends, classmates, and instructors during this difficult time.

MCC's Counseling staff are available to assist students who may have known Niranjan. Please contact Counseling Services at (585) 292-2140 or via email at counselingservices@monroecc.edu to schedule an appointment to talk with a counselor or for more information.

Counseling support is also available for employees through EmployeeConnect, MCC's employee assistance program, provided by our Human Resources Department.
