The Office of Student Life and Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with your students):

Downtown Student Life Fair

  • Monday, September 14th 11am to 1pm, Downtown Campus Second Floor Lounge

Come meet our student leaders from clubs and organizations and learn how to get involved on campus!

Check-In Day

  • Tuesday, September 15th, 11am to 1pm, Brighton Campus Building 3 Atrium

Come connect with on-campus office and community resources about mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Free food and giveaways!

Emerging Leaders: Intro to Program

  • Tuesday, September 15th, 2pm to 3pm, Brighton Campus 3-139A

Come learn about the Emerging Leaders Badge Program and get involved. Through this program, you will engage in interactive workshops, community service, and reflection. Students explore topics like leadership, emotional intelligence, career readiness, civic engagement, and inclusive leadership.

Brighton Student Life Fair

  • Wednesday, September 16th 11am to 1pm, Brighton Campus Atrium & Terrace

Constitution Day

  • Thursday, September 17th 11:30am to 1pm, Brighton Campus Center Terrace

Student Government Present Gona Abdullah and her team will be providing remarks on the importance of voting and helping students navigate Turbo Vote to register and be aware of the voting deadlines.

Emerging Leaders: Emotional Intelligence Workshop

  • Thursday, September 17th, 1pm to 2pm, Brighton Campus Building 3-139A

Join the Counseling, Health and Disability Services for an Emerging Leaders Workshop on emotional intelligence and leadership. Complete one of your three required workshops to earn your leadership badge!

  • Student Government Association Senate Meeting will be Tuesday, September 15th at 2:15pm
  • SGA is tabling every day in the Building 3 Terrace so you can register to vote! The future is yours – vote for it!
  • Local Vendor: On Monday September 14th, there will be a local vendor with art to purchase.  
  • DWIGHT Food Pantry is open and accepting online orders! The hours are 9am to 4:30pm.
  • Zen Den is open and ready for you to take some "you" time! Come relax in the Zen Den during open hours:
    • Monday, 10am to 2pm
    • Tuesday, 12pm to 2pm
    • Wednesday, 10am to 2pm
    • Thursday, 12pm to 2pm
    • Friday 10am to 12:45pm
