A Shell-ebration of Creativity: MCC's Munchkin Goes Viral
Have you seen MCC’s recent video featuring Munchkin the Tortoise in a ladybug costume designed by one of our students, Desi Charles? This little reptile, celebrating in the Brighton campus atrium, has quickly become one of our top-performing videos. Munchkin’s video has reached 234K views, and it’s still growing! The video also earned over 70K likes, which is a strong like-to-view ratio showing clear audience excitement.
Not only are viewers loving it, but national brands have noticed too! The official E.L.F. Cosmetics and Planters’ mascot, Mr. Peanut, both commented on the video, helping boost engagement and reach.
With more than 267 comments, 4,673 saves, and 12k shares, this video continues to gain traction across TikTok. The response highlights the power of fun, personality-driven content in expanding MCC’s visibility and connecting with new audiences. It’s also a great example of the creativity and talent our students bring to campus every day!
