Attendance due - September 21st
Attendance is due by Monday, September 21st for fall 2026 full semester courses. Official attendance is reported in self-service banner.
Important: You can begin entering attendance for those students who have attended, but please wait until September 20th to work any students who have not yet attended. Note: All attendance must be entered before the Financial Aid freeze date of September 22nd.
How To Enter Attendance:
- In the myMCC portal, navigate to Banner > Faculty Services
- Under Rosters, click on the Attendance and Grade Entry.
- Double-click on the white space in the line of the class for which you wish to enter attendance.
- Enter a 0 if the student has never attended
- Students will be dropped for non-attendance the next time the process runs and removed from the class roster
- Enter a 1 if the student has attended, in the Hours Attended column for each student
- (Please DO NOT enter a last date of attendance unless the student withdrew from the class).
- Enter a 0 if the student has never attended
- Click Save
A training video is available if additional help is needed. It can be accessed in the myMCC portal under Banner > Banner 9 Training Videos.
