MCC Proud: Meet Michele Skehan

Michele Skehan serves as the supervisor of the Printing Services department at Monroe Community College (MCC). She has dedicated 39 years to working at the College, in addition to two more as a student aide.

Skehan fell in love with everything about printing in her graphic arts/printing classes at Hilton High School. She later attended MCC, where she was awarded the Printing House Craftsmen Club Award while finishing her final classes and starting her full-time career.

Skehan was also featured in the 2016 MCC publication, Inspiring Profiles.

Looking back on her time at the College, Skehan’s greatest memory was the day she was offered a full-time position in the MCC Print Shop.

When asked what advice she would give current or prospective students, Skehan said, “Be present in the moment and engage in all the opportunities the college has to offer.”
