MSCHE Accreditation Self-Study Report Submission & Next Steps

I am pleased to share that our Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) Self-Study Report was successfully submitted on December 23, 2025. This significant milestone shows great teamwork, commitment, and effort from our campus community, and I appreciate the contributions of all who helped with this achievement.

I sincerely thank our co-chairs, Dr. William Dixon and Dr. Natasha Chen, for their leadership, insight, and unwavering dedication that guided the self-study process from beginning to end. I also want to express my appreciation to Dr. Holly Wheeler for her leadership in coordinating the contributions of multiple authors, identifying gaps in evidence, conducting additional research, and guiding the overall development of the report, all of which substantially strengthened the final submission. I extend my sincere thanks to the members of the steering committee, as well as the many faculty, staff, and administrators whose time, expertise, and involvement made this work possible.

Finally, I want to recognize Dr. Terry Keys for his leadership and service as our Accreditation Liaison Officer. Terry will continue to serve as the main liaison with the Executive Leadership Team and me during the upcoming site visit (scheduled for March 22-25, 2026) and the Commission’s decision on our accreditation. His guidance and steady coordination have been crucial throughout this process.

Completing the Self-Study Report reflects numerous hours of reflection, analysis, and teamwork, serving as proof of our collective dedication to institutional excellence and ongoing growth.

Thank you for your hard work, professionalism, and ongoing engagement as we progress together through this vital phase of our accreditation journey. We have so much to be proud of thanks to our collective good work on behalf of our students.
