Celebrating John Haines, a Valued Colleague - Share Your Memories

Our Facilities team has been fortunate to work alongside many dedicated individuals who have left a lasting mark on our department and community. One of our recently retired colleagues, John Haines, is someone whose contributions, work ethic, and positive presence have made a meaningful impact on so many of us over the years.

While we had hoped to gather in person to celebrate his retirement, we are instead creating and giving John a special keepsake—a memory book filled with notes, stories, and favorite memories from those who have worked with him. This will serve as a heartfelt reminder of the difference he made and the people whose lives he touched.

We invite you to contribute a message, memory, or note of appreciation. Whether it’s a short thank-you, a favorite story, or a reflection on his impact, your words will help create something truly meaningful.

Submission Details:

In addition, if you would like to contribute to a retirement gift in John's honor, you may do so by sending your donation directly to Courtney Sprague in bldg. 21 or Kaelee Hathaway in bldg. 3 (after 1pm).

Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate a colleague who has given so much to our team. Your participation will help ensure he feels the appreciation and gratitude of the entire College.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
