All College Day - Next Week!
All College Day is just a week away! The annual kickoff to the new academic year with President Burt-Nanna is an opportunity to jumpstart the year in an energizing way while reconnecting with colleagues and welcoming new people to our MCC community.
President Burt-Nanna will also welcome Dr. DeRionne Pollard, President and CEO of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), to explore MCC’s theme for the year ahead— “Resilience: Next Level Excellence,” through remarks and a Q&A session. Additionally, Dr. Pollard and Dr. Burt-Nanna will discuss Education Secretary Linda McMahon’s recent “National Call to Action” and reflect on how the current landscape accentuates the value community colleges provide.
