Discover the Support Staff Planning Council (SSPC): What's Happening in September

The Support Staff Planning Council (SSPC) is excited to kick off another year of professional development, networking, and community engagement! 

Whether you are new to the College or a long-time employee, we invite you to get involved. SSPC welcomes new ideas, fresh perspectives, and active participation from support staff across the college.  The programs and activities we offer are made possible by the enthusiasm, talents, and contributions of employees like you. 

Our first meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 10:00 AM in the AHY Conference Room (1-320). If you are interested in attending or learning more, please email SSPC (sspc@monroecc.edu).

Unwind, get creative, and celebrate the season with our first Craft Club project of the year. No experience is necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!

Coming Soon: SSPC Book Club  

Getting Things Done: the Art of Stress-Free Productivity by David Allen  

Join us as we launch the SSPC Book Club and explore David Allen’s practical approach to productivity, organization, and stress reduction.  

Through informal monthly discussions, participants will share insights and strategies from Getting Things Done while exploring ways to apply these concepts to both professional and personal responsibilities. Whether you are looking to better manage competing priorities, improve organization, or simply reduce stress, this book club offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow with colleagues.
