FYE Sustainability Fix It Fair

Join us for the Sustainability Fix‑It Fair on Saturday, April 18, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. This drop‑in event focuses on sustainability, reuse, and extending the life of everyday items.

Bring items that need minor repairs and learn practical tips to fix, reuse, or maintain them rather than throwing them away. The fair is open to all and designed to be welcoming for participants with varying skill levels.

Why Attend?

  • Learn basic repair and sustainability skills
  • Reduce waste and support reuse
  • Connect with others interested in sustainable practices
  • Participate at your own pace — no experience required
  • Enjoy Earth Day Swag!

 Items to Bring

Participants are encouraged to bring small, easy‑to‑carry items that may be repairable, such as:

  • Clothing with small tears, missing buttons, or loose hems
  • Simple accessories (bags, backpacks, or zippers)
  • Basic household items needing minor fixes
  • Other small personal items you would like help assessing or repairing

Please note that large appliances, hazardous materials, or items requiring specialized tools may not be accepted.

Walk‑ins are also welcome.
