Free Student Breakfast: Important Guidelines

Monroe Community College is pleased to offer free breakfast to active students at both our Brighton and Downtown Campuses. To ensure this grant-funded program benefits the intended students, it’s important to follow the guidelines below.

  • Students must be enrolled in the Spring 2026 semester at Monroe Community College.
  • Students must present their MCC Student ID at breakfast.
  • Students must come in person to receive their meal.
  • Students are not allowed to take food for others, even if they are also enrolled.
  • A meal consists of one hot entrée and one each of milk, juice, fruit, and oatmeal.

We understand it may be frustrating to some that there are boundaries to the program, but they are necessary so we can offer the service to those who truly need it with the funds we have. If the guidelines are followed, we improve our chances of expanding the program soon.

Thank you for partnering with us to prioritize students’ basic needs, which directly impact their success. Together, we are removing barriers and preparing students for a prosperous future.
