Office of Student Life and Leadership Development News

The Office of Student Life and Leadership Development has some exciting news that you will want to know about as we continue to help students build a strong sense of belonging and connection on campus.

Chloe Allen, Assistant Director

Chloe has developed a new, comprehensive, and reimagined leadership program designed to enhance students’ leadership skills. The Emerging Leaders Badge Program is a multidisciplinary and intentional series of workshops and activities that will give students a competitive edge when applying for jobs, scholarships, and colleges.

Chloe’s expertise in nonprofit organizations and her work with underrepresented populations will help ensure that the needs of all students are represented and supported.

Chloe is also the primary contact for DWIGHT (Doing What Is Good and Healthy Together) Food Cupboard. We are always looking for donations and community partners to help enhance the resources and services available through the food cupboard.

Morganne Madonia, Program Coordinator

Morganne will serve as the Phi Theta Kappa contact advisor. She will communicate with students who are eligible to apply for MCC’s honor society and work with faculty and staff to help students understand the many benefits of joining Phi Theta Kappa.

Morganne is also responsible for working with Clubs and Organizations and the Campus Activities Board. She will work closely with our cultural organizations and student clubs while planning large-scale events, including Fall and Spring Festivals across all campuses.

Tracy McKinney, Operations Coordinator

Tracy oversees Terrace and Brick Lounge reservations and set-ups for the Forum. She coordinates Terrace vendors and manages requests for use of the Terrace space.

Tracy also keeps our Lounges, Zen Den, and DWIGHT spaces organized and up to date. Her work helps ensure these spaces are welcoming, comfortable, and accessible for students.

Melissa Gue, Administrative Assistant

Melissa is our department’s Administrative Assistant and backbone. She supports both our students and department events and serves as the Student Government Association’s secretary.

Together, this team is committed to creating opportunities, connections, and welcoming spaces that help every student feel a sense of belonging and find their place on campus.
