TCC: Gratitude Series Fall 2025: Day 10 (Final Day of Our Kudos)

Today marks the final day of our Kudos celebration for this semester!

It has been such a joy to share the appreciation messages from MCC colleagues with all of you. You are truly amazing, and your dedication shines through every day.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your commitment, participation, and support of the Teaching and Creativity Center. Professional development is a continuous journey—for your own growth and for the success of our students—and your engagement makes a real difference.

A special thanks to Erin for her hard work in preparing the Winter Teaching Institute. If you haven’t had a chance to RSVP yet, please do so soon!

Here’s to creating more memories of learning together in 2026. Take care, everyone!

Bethany Gizzi (MCC Faculty Association/ AHPS) 

I want to thank Bethany for her tireless advocacy on behalf of teaching faculty and professional staff. Bethany's dedication to succession planning, strategy, and hearing diverse perspectives has long made her a leader on campus and an admirable colleague. Thank you for all you do!

Kristen Killion (HPE)       

Kristen is such a joy to work with.  She is caring, dedicated, hard working, and always willing to lend a hand.

Dale Pearce (HPE), First Year Faculty           

Dale is such a great asset to MCC and to our department.  He is intrinsically motivated and is a powerhouse when it comes to getting things done.  At the same time, he cares deeply for his students and their outcomes. Thank you, Dale.

Terry Shamblin (HPE)    

Terry is such a great asset to MCC and our department and our students. She is dedicated and hard working and her heartlight shines through in everything she does.  Thank you Terry!

Renee Dimino (HPE)       

Renee is such a dynamo, giving so much to MCC, her colleagues, and to our students.  She is an excellent team player and students and colleagues alike are so very fortunate that she is at MCC.  Thank you Renee.

Annie Vershay (HPE)      

Annie is so pleasant and friendly all of the time.  Love to see her smiling face in the Health and PE department whenever I walk by. 

RuthAnn Nasso (Nursing)

Ruth Ann is the lab assistant in the nursing department. She has been a true role model and leader to me since starting as a new employee.  She has displayed exceptional guidance, support and encouragement. Her dedication to fostering growth and sharing knowledge has been empowering. She leads with clarity, patience, and empathy that sets her apart from others. Through her mentorship she has created an environment where learning thrives and individuals feel valued. Her influence has shaped both personal and profession development in profound ways.

Gabe Armatas (Chem-GEO)        

My colleague consistently goes above and beyond, offering help, sharing ideas, and setting a strong example for the rest of the team.
