MCC Hosts "Day in the Life" Event for Future Students
On Wednesday, Monroe Community College welcomed more than 100 high school students to its Downtown Campus for the Day in the Life event, spotlighting programs in Criminal Justice, Education, and Human Services.
Students from College Now programs at Brockport, Vertus, Monroe BOCES 1, School Without Walls, Seneca Falls, Lyons, Dundee, Geneva High School, and others arrived by bus to experience what life as an MCC student is like.
The day featured simulated classes led by faculty, campus tours, and conversations with current Tribunes, who shared why they chose MCC and what makes their college experience unique.
This event was made possible through a partnership between Pre-Collegiate Programs, the Law and Criminal Justice Department, and the Education and Human Services Department. It was powerful collaboration to inspire students and showcase the opportunities that await them at MCC.
Kudos to everyone involved for creating such an engaging and impactful experience for these future Tribunes! Your efforts truly make a difference.
