Scholarship Open Golfers Raise Record-setting Amount for MCC Students

The Monroe Community College Foundation's 42nd Annual Scholarship Open, presented by Toyota, teed off on Monday, June 22, at The Country Club of Rochester.

Each June, the Scholarship Open generates critical financial support for student scholarships and unrestricted funds. This year, golfers braved the rain to help us proudly raise over $161,000 (net) in scholarship funding — a new record, and an above-par result that will have a truly lasting impact for MCC students.

Thank you to the many members of the College community who made this event a success, including co-chairs Kim Gaylord ’98 and Jason Socola ’04, as well as the teams in Printing Services and Central Receiving/Shipping. We are deeply grateful for the behind-the-scenes support that kept everything on course!
