Join (on Instagram!) GEO 295 in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and More!

Join - virtually on Instagram @monroe_cc_geology - MCC GEO 295 "Yellowstone Supervolcano and Geologic Features of the West" students and faculty (Geology Profs Barone and Colosimo) as we embark on the field studies portion of the course from June 1st - June 10th. The group will be traveling to field sites throughout UT, WY, MT, and ID to collect data, sketch features, conduct research, complete field projects, etc. Keep up with our learning adventures and see posts from the students as they investigate the remarkable geology of sites including:

• Antelope Island, Great Salt Lake, UT
• Independence Rock, WY
• Devils Tower National Monument, WY
• Bighorn Mountains, WY
• Yellowstone National Park, WY/MT/ID
• Grand Teton National Park, WY
• Craters of the Moon National Monument, ID
