Employee Recognition Ceremony: A Celebration To Remember

On behalf of the entire Monroe Community College community, I extend my deepest gratitude to each of you — Bailey Burritt, Victoria Boese, Suzanne Bureau (Co-Chair), Jeremy Case, Veronica Chiesi Brown, Cheryl Gavigan, Cynthia Clark Inman, Yolanda Johnson, Subia Khan, Cameron Koehler, Patrick Morris, Sharon Rappenecker, Pam Rende, Kate Sweeney, Dana Voldan-Curry, Courtney Weimar, and Eric Wheeler (Co-Chair) - for planning and executing such a meaningful and uplifting Employee Recognition Ceremony. A special thank you to the members of the Student Government Association (SGA) for adding their own special touch to the ceremony.

It was a moment filled with celebration, laughter, and shared joy. Your care, creativity, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the event. You created a space that honored the hard work and dedication of our colleagues and reminded us of the strength of community, the importance of appreciation, and the impact of genuine human connection.

This celebration was more than an event; it was a living expression of Monroe Community College’s mission and vision. Your presence reaffirmed our shared purpose — to transform lives through education, to honor excellence, and to uplift one another, as we remain unwavering in our commitment to our students.

As we enter the summer months, I hope each of you finds time for rest, renewal, and reflection. You have certainly earned it.
