Mental Health Awareness: Mental Health Matters

Please share with students:

Please join us today as we continue recognizing Mental Health Awareness Month. We’ll be offering two opportunities throughout the day to connect and check in.

  • Mental Health Matters at Brighton Campus- we will be bringing our weekly Wellness Wednesday fun to Spring Fling at the Brighton Campus. Stop by our table to explore mental health resources, wellness giveaways and create your own tie-dye piece to express yourself through color and creativity.
  • Mental Health Matters at Downtown Campus- we will have a mental health counselor set up at the Foodlink Curbside Market Event with some sweet treats, mental health resources and wellness giveaways. Foodlink Curbside Market will be at the Downtown Campus along with the Foodlink Nutrition Education and Benefits Navigation teams and our partners from Monroe County Department of Human Services. There will be free produce vouchers for all who attend, music, giveaways, fresh food, resources and support as we help students finish the semester strong! We are so greatful for these incredible community partnerships and the way our community continues to come together for students.
    • Time: 11:00am to 2:00pm (mental health counselor available from 12pm to 1pm)
    • Location: Downtown Campus, First Floor

Take a moment out of your day to check in with yourself, connect with support, and be reminded that your mental health matters, this time of year and always.
