MCC Downtown Campus Celebrates 100 Years of Black History Month
Please share with students:Join the Downtown Campus community on February 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Second Floor Lounge as we celebrate 100 years of Black History Month.
Originally established in 1926 by historian Carter G. Woodson, Black History Month honors the achievements, culture, and lasting impact of Black Americans.
The celebration will include:
- BBQ meal lunch
- Live African drummers
- Line dance instruction
- Middle States Readiness Rally with free giveaways
All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
