TCC: College-wide Mentors Needed
Did you know that MCC welcomed 20 new full-time teaching faculty members this academic year? That’s 20 new colleagues navigating a new position and potentially a new campus.
We need experienced faculty to help them find their footing!
If you are a tenured teaching faculty member, please consider becoming a mentor through the Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) College-wide Mentoring Program. As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to share your knowledge, experience, and insights with a junior teaching faculty member—and make a meaningful difference during those important first steps at MCC.
And don’t worry: this is not a one-size-fits-all commitment. The program is flexible and shaped around the needs of each mentee, so the time commitment can vary. We do our best to create matches that work well for both mentors and mentees.
Twenty new faculty members means we have a real need for mentors. If you’ve ever wished someone had been there to answer your questions when you were new, this is your chance to be that person for someone else.

We’d love to have you join us—and our new faculty will be grateful you did!
