Did you know that Lunar New Year is now an official New York state holiday? It is celebrated in many parts of Asia and the Asian diaspora around the world.
In collaboration with Global Union (GU) Student Association and Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs (APAPA) Rochester, we are co-hosting Rochester's first Lunar New Year celebration in the Flynn Campus Center. Please bring your families. There will be art activities, dance and music performances, and a limited food menu.
GU will sell snacks and an American Chinese buffet meal at our Marketplace. A Korean food truck and Tai Chi Bubble Tea will also have a few offerings.
MCC student volunteers will receive a free ticket to the buffet lunch. Wear MCC gear!
