Opening Reception for Anne Havens: Echoes and Variations

Opening this Thursday, February 26th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the new exhibition in the Mercer Gallery celebrates the expansive and evolving practice of Rochester-based artist Anne Havens. Echoes and Variations brings together works created across multiple decades, highlighting Havens’ sustained exploration of ideas through a wide range of artistic mediums.

Working in series, Havens revisits forms, themes, and processes over time—allowing images and materials to reappear, shift, and transform. The exhibition traces these visual throughlines, revealing both continuity and reinvention within her body of work.
