Please join us for today’s Student Wellness Wednesday as we recognize National Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week and focus on building awareness about how substance use can impact your health, decision-making, and overall well-being.

College is a time when many students experience new freedoms, social situations, and pressures. Having accurate information about drugs and alcohol can help you make informed choices that support your goals, safety, and success both academically and personally. National Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week is an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and explore resources that can help you stay healthy and make decisions that align with what matters most to you.

Today’s event highlights how awareness, education, and access to resources can help you make choices that support your well-being throughout the semester.

What’s Happening at This Event:

Drug & Alcohol Awareness Education:
Learn about how drugs and alcohol affect the body and mind, common myths about substance use, and ways to make safer choices in social settings. Stop by to gain helpful information that can support you in making decisions that align with your health and personal goals.

Mindful Hands-On Activity:
Take part in a simple, hands-on activity designed to help you slow down and de-stress. Creative activities like this can be a great way to practice mindfulness, relax your mind, and explore healthy ways to cope with stress.
