Please join us for a mid-week break to unwind and prioritize your well-being with our Weekly Wellness Event! In honor of National Drug and Alcohol Awareness Month this March, today’s theme is “Prioritizing Your Health: Mind and Body.”

Substance use and addiction can have a profound impact on your overall wellness, and taking time to reflect on these habits can lead to improved mental clarity, healthier decisions, and a more balanced life. During this event, we’ll explore the importance of understanding the effects of drugs and alcohol on your health and well-being, as well as strategies for making informed choices to protect your future.

Here’s what to expect at these events:

  • Wellness Activities: Engage in mindfulness practices, stress-relief exercises, and relaxation techniques to promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
  • Therapy Dogs: Cuddle up with our furry friends for a dose of comfort and joy.
  • Wellness Resources: Explore educational materials on managing stress, addiction prevention, and how substance use affects your body and mind.
  • Self-Care Giveaways: Pick up some treats to help you relax, unwind, and prioritize your mental and physical health.

These weekly workshops are the perfect opportunity to step away from your busy schedule, connect with fellow students, and foster a sense of community here at MCC. We hope to see you there!
