Please join us for today’s Student Wellness Wednesday as we celebrate World Compliment Day and focus on the power of kindness, positive communication, and uplifting one another.

In the midst of busy schedules, academic pressures, and everyday stress, it’s easy to overlook the impact that a simple compliment can have. Offering genuine words of encouragement can boost confidence, strengthen connections, and improve overall well-being—for both the person giving and receiving the compliment. World Compliment Day is a great opportunity to practice kindness, build community, and spread positivity across campus.

Today’s event highlights how small, intentional acts of kindness can create a more supportive and inclusive environment while also enhancing your own mood and mindset.

What’s Happening at This Event:

  • Compliment & Kindness Activity:
    Stop by to participate in a simple, hands-on activity where you can write and share compliments with others. Whether it’s a note to a friend, a peer, or even yourself, this activity encourages positivity, connection, and self-appreciation.
  • Mindful Hands-On Activity:
    Take part in a creative, stress-reducing activity designed to help you slow down and be present. Engaging in hands-on mindfulness activities can support relaxation, reduce stress, and give your mind a break during a busy day.
  • Therapy Dogs:
    Take a break and spend some time with our therapy dogs. A few minutes of connection with animals can help reduce stress, boost your mood, and give you a chance to recharge.
  • Wellness Resources:
    Learn about campus and community resources that support student well-being, mental health, and building positive relationships. Staff will be available to answer questions and help connect you with helpful supports.
  • Giveaways & Positive Messages:
    Pick up wellness giveaways and uplifting messages to carry with you throughout the week and share with others.
  • Lunch Provided!

Student Wellness Wednesdays are a chance for you to pause, recharge, and focus on your well-being. Stop by, grab some lunch, and be part of creating a more positive, supportive campus community—one compliment at a time.
