Take a mid-week break to unwind and prioritize your well-being with our Weekly Wellness Event! Today’s theme is Autism Acceptance in honor of April being National Autism Acceptance Month.

Understanding and supporting neurodiversity is essential to fostering an inclusive and healthy campus environment. Stop by this event to explore ways to enhance well-being through sensory-friendly activities, stress-relief strategies, and resources that promote mental and emotional balance for all students, including those on the autism spectrum.

What to Expect at This Event:

  • Wellness Activities: Engage in mindfulness practices, sensory-friendly relaxation techniques, and stress-relief exercises designed for all students.
  • Therapy Dogs: Enjoy the comfort and joy of our furry friends—perfect for reducing stress and increasing relaxation.
  • Wellness Resources: Learn about neurodiversity, self-care strategies, and tools to support mental well-being.
  • Self-Care Giveaways: Pick up some sensory-friendly items and relaxation treats to help you recharge.

These weekly workshops provide a great opportunity to step away from your busy schedule, connect with fellow students, and foster a sense of understanding and inclusion here at MCC. Let’s celebrate neurodiversity and well-being together!
