Brighton Campus
11:30 am - 01:00 pm
Are you feeling overwhelmed as the semester starts to wrap up? Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness month? MCC Counseling, Disability, and Health Services is committed to helping break down barriers which prevent students from receiving support for what are often invisible conditions. As we prepare for finals and begin to reflect on this past academic year, it is even more important that we ensure that individuals who are struggling with their mental health are aware of when and how to seek out additional support.
We hope you will come check out our Well-being on Wheels cart today as we roll across the Brighton Campus from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This week we invite you to Treat Your Mind! Swing by our wagon to take a quick brain break to enjoy a sweet treat, learn about community resources, and grab some mental health awareness swag. You deserve it!
As always, our wagon aims to help spread awareness around various health and wellness topics, to reduce stigma, and to connect our MCC community to helpful resources both on and off campus. Our goal is to meet students where they are and to make resources inclusive, accessible, and engaging.
