Wellness Center, Room 3-165
11:00 am - 01:00 pm

Please join us for today’s Student Wellness Wednesday as we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and focus on the importance of supporting emotional well-being, reducing stigma, and prioritizing mental health.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a time to build understanding around the impact mental health has on our daily lives and to encourage open, supportive conversations. As academic, social, and personal demands continue to grow, taking care of your mental health is more important than ever. Today’s event highlights how small, intentional actions—like checking in with yourself, connecting with others, and utilizing available resources—can support your overall well-being and help create a more compassionate campus community.

What’s Happening at This Event:

Mental Health Awareness & Education:
Learn more about common mental health topics such as stress, anxiety, and emotional well-being. Explore ways to recognize signs, build coping strategies, and connect to both on- and off-campus resources that support your mental health.

Mindful Hands-On Activity:
Engage in a simple, hands-on activity designed to help you slow down and de-stress. Creative and mindful activities offer a practical way to reset, reduce stress, and support emotional balance.

Therapy Dogs:
Take a well-deserved break with our therapy dogs. Spending time with animals can help reduce stress, improve mood, and provide a calming, supportive experience.

Wellness Giveaways:
Pick up helpful resources and items focused on mental health, self-care, and overall wellness.

Lunch Provided!
