Prep:
16 bars (roughly a verse and a chorus) of a song that is in the style of the show, to be sung a cappella. You may choose a song from the show, if you wish. Be sure to choose something that will not only show off your vocal range, but your theatrical expression as well. No Disney, please. Actors do not need to prepare a monologue. If necessary, I will provide you with sides at the audition to read.
This is an adult show that deals with mature themes, and I strongly recommend researching the show before auditioning. Auditions are open to enrolled MCC students only. If cast, you will be enrolled in either THE 142 or MUS 142, and all tuition fees apply. Rehearsals will be Mondays thru Thursdays from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and will begin Monday, September 22.
