September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, encourage connection, reduce stigma, and remind our campus community that support is available.
This week’s Wellness Wednesday will focus on Suicide Awareness & Prevention and the importance of checking in with ourselves and one another. Stop by to learn about mental health and suicide prevention resources, ways to support yourself or someone you care about, and simple strategies for managing stress and strengthening connection.
Remember, you don’t have to be in crisis to prioritize your mental health, reach out for support, or check in with someone else. Sometimes a conversation, a connection, or simply knowing where to turn for help can make a meaningful difference.
And, of course, all your Wellness Wednesday favorites will be waiting for you!
What to expect:
- Free food
- Therapy dogs
- Suicide prevention and mental health resources
- Relaxation and stress-reduction activities
- Massage chairs
- Hands-on wellness activities
- Wellness tips, resources, and giveaways
- Opportunities to connect with other students
- A welcoming space to take a break, recharge, and check in with yourself
Whether you have five minutes between classes or want to stay awhile, stop by, grab some food, visit the therapy dogs, connect with resources, participate in an activity, and take a little time for yourself.
No registration is required—just stop in!
We can't wait to see you there!
