File Your Taxes for Free with NYS Tax Department Members at the Brighton Campus on April 13th

NYS Tax Department employees will be on the Brighton campus, in Building 12, Room 103, to assist you in person to prepare and e-file your taxes on Monday, April 13th. 

• If you earned $89,000 or less in 2025 (filing as an individual or family), you qualify
• Safe and secure online tax software
• Use on-site computers, or your own laptop, tablet, or mobile device
• You only need basic computer skills and an active e-mail account.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. Sessions are available from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. For additional information, a list of necessary documents, and to schedule a session, visit the Tax Assistance Program website.
