Wellness Wednesday

Back to all events

11/19/2025
Counseling & Disability Office, Building 3, Room 103
11:00 am - 01:00 pm

Join us for this week’s Wellness Wednesday as we explore how giving back and helping others can boost your own well-being!

The act of giving, whether it’s your time, kindness, or support, has powerful effects on both mental and emotional health. Generosity can reduce stress, increase happiness, and strengthen our sense of connection and purpose. This week, we’ll focus on simple ways to spread kindness and make a positive impact in your campus and local community.

What’s Happening at This Event:

  • Kindness Activity – Take part in a creative, hands-on activity focused on acts of kindness and gratitude. You’ll have the chance to write a note of encouragement, make a gift for yourself or others, or share ideas for giving back this season.
  • Therapy Dogs – Spend time with our furry friends and experience the joy that comes from sharing care and compassion.
  • Wellness Resources – Learn how giving and volunteerism can support mental health, build community, and promote a sense of fulfillment.
  • Self-Care & Kindness Giveaways – Take-home items that inspire positivity, reflection, and continued acts of kindness.
  • Lunch Provided!

These weekly events are your chance to pause, recharge, and connect with your campus community. Let’s celebrate the joy of giving, because when we lift others up, we lift ourselves too.
