Transfer College Application Time!
Now is the time for students to apply to transfer to four-year
colleges/universities for the Fall 2020 semester. Many applications are due in
March. The first question to answer is what type of application to use.
Students:
SUNY Colleges: It is advised to use the SUNY application. It is
short, easy, and the application fee can be waived for up to seven schools if
you are graduating from MCC. Supplemental applications might be required.
Private and Out-of-State Colleges: Use the college's application on their
website or a multi-college application such as the Common Application if you are
applying to several schools.
Check application requirements and deadlines:
- Some programs (ex. nursing, education, social work) may require an
additional application.
- Check deadlines for admission, onācampus housing and financial aid.
Faculty and Staff:
If you are asked to submit a letter of recommendation using the Common
Application and have questions about the process, a guide is available. See: h
