Student Commencement Speaker Application for the May 20th Virtual Commencement

Faculty and Staff: please encourage any graduating student you feel would serve well in this speaking role to apply!

All graduating students are eligible to apply for the student speaker role at the virtual commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 20, 2021. The commencement student speaker will deliver a pre-recorded, approximately 3-5 minute address to the graduating class to be part of the virtual commencement ceremony. The selected student will receive extensive coaching in preparation for this event.

Any graduating student who wishes to be considered for this prestigious honor needs to complete the attached application. All students selected through the application pool will audition for the role.

Applications will be accepted through March 17, 2021. Please email completed application (see attachment) including personal statement to studentservices@monroecc.edu
