Join Chinese Culture Club for a fun program of lantern decorating! Food will
be provided for those that decorate!
Basket Bonanza
- Monday April 25th, Tuesday April 26th, Thursday April 28th, &
Friday April 29th, 9:00 am- 3:30 pm, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Terrace
Join Sustainability Club this week for their silent auction to help
fundraise for their club. Enjoy baskets full of locally sourced goods from the
Rochester area! Tickets will be sold right in the Terrace from 9-3:30 pm! Cash
and Venmo accepted!
Conflict Resolution Lunch n’ Learn
- Tuesday, April 26th, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, Building 3- 139A
Conflicts are an opportunity for growth. When you’re able to resolve
conflicts positively, it builds trust in relationships. Come enjoy lunch on us
and learn about your Conflict Management Style. Registration is required.

32nd Annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration
- Wednesday, April 27th, 9:30 am - 2:00 pm, R. Thomas Flynn Campus

- Wednesday, April 27th, 7:00 pm, MCC Theater Building 4, Robin &
Tim Wentworth Arts Building
Join Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project for the 32nd Annual Yom
HaShoah Commemoration. This year’s theme is Words Everlasting: the
importance and healing of storytelling. The commemoration will begin with an
opening ceremony at 9:30 am in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium, followed by a
candle lighting, calling of the names and photographic essay display from 10 am
to 2 pm. Then join us at 7pm as the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights
Project collaborates with The Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester to present
keynote speaker Jill Sarkozi, founder of Safekeeping Stories.
Local Holocaust Survivors will give their personal testimonies at the
following times via zoom:
Phi Theta Kappa Induction Ceremony
- Thursday, April 28th, 6:00 pm, MCC Theater Building 4, Robin &
Tim Wentworth Arts Building
This Thursday Monroe Community College’s outstanding students will be
inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during the spring induction
ceremony. Please help us celebrate what will be a memorable day for these new
members of Phi Theta Kappa. Your presence at the Phi Theta Kappa induction will
serve to reinforce MCC's commitment to these students and their
achievements.
