Spectrum News Highlights Members of Ndoole Family Who Study at MCC

On August 16 and 17, Spectrum News' Multimedia Specialist Phillip Boudreaux highlighted six members of the Ndoole family who study at MCC. Led by their mother, the family came to the U.S. from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) seeking educational opportunities and brighter futures.

The five brothers and sister each major in different academic disciplines. The family regards higher education as a way to honor their father who was killed in an attack in the DRC. The siblings hope to serve as role models to other international students seeking access to higher education.

Spectrum News Capital Region (Albany) also shared this inspiring story.
