Ann Schwartz 2003’
Bio: Ann received her AAS in Health Information Technology from Monroe
Community College. Her experience in Phi Theta Kappa enabled her to earn a
scholarship to SUNY Brockport where she received a BS in Health Science
Education. Ann spent 13 years in HIV prevention working under a grant from the
Centers for Disease Control. Her work included training HIV prevention
specialists, writing curriculum for a national audience and providing capacity
building assistance to state health departments. For the last three years, Ann
has worked for the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration which is
funded by NIH’s National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. The
focus of her work is to assist research centers in moving their research from
the bench to the bedside.
Heather D'Errico 2001’
Bio: Heather D'Errico is an MCC and Phi Theta Kappa alum. After earning her
Associates Degree, Heather moved onto SUNY Fredonia for her BS and MS in Speech
Language Pathology. Heather began her career as a Speech Language Pathologist
(SLP) providing home and community-based speech services in early intervention
and preschool before shifting the focus of her work to the adult population.
She is currently a senior SLP at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY in
the outpatient department of rehabilitation medicine, treating patients with a
variety of neurological disorders.
Joshua Fox 2019’
Joshua Fox graduated from Monroe Community College's Nursing Program in
December 2019. I currently work as an RN at Golisano Children's Hospital in the
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. I am currently back in school at the University
of Rochester to complete my Bachelor's Degree. I like to work out and hang out
with my wife and 6-month-old baby boy when I am not working.
