MCC Engineering Students Did It Again
MCC hosted the statewide 2018 mini UAV competition on Friday, April 27,
sponsored by SUNY TYESA and MCC.
Team MCC defeated all the member institutions and secured first place in the
overall competition.
The project was to design, build, and pilot a mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(UAV) to transport a rescue kit to designated locations through a series of
obstacles, and return to the starting point. This project was designed to
simulate a rescue kit delivery where human navigation is difficult or
dangerous.
Thank you very much for your support of our engineering students.
