Part-Year AmeriCorps Enrollment Opportunity

For the first time in its 25 year history, Rochester AmeriCorps is actively recruiting applicants for six or nine-month terms of service. This option enables individuals who are not able to make a full year commitment the opportunity to work with students in the Rochester City School District from either January through June or December through August. Our members serve in low-performing RCSD elementary and secondary schools, offering activities such as small group academic work, one-on-one tutoring, classroom support, mentoring, extended learning programs, and success coaching. These full time positions earn AmeriCorps benefits including a living stipend, health care, a child care subsidy, and an education award that can be used toward paying off qualified student loans or covering future education expenses.
