Administrative Services 2019 Annual Meeting

The Administrative Services 2019 annual meeting was held on November 19, 2019, with approximately 160 divisional employees attending. This year's keynote was Jeff McManus, author of Growing Weeders Into Leaders, who currently serves as director of landscape services for the University of Mississippi's Ole Miss Campus. His keynote focused on the practical applications of empowering people to experience not only what it means to grow outstanding landscapes, but also to grow greatness in themselves and encourage the same in others. His team developed a system of beautification and landscape management through collaborative teamwork that led to numerous awards/designations for the Ole Miss campus including Princeton Review, Newsweek Magazine, and USA Today. Survey results provided excellent reviews from divisional staff in all departments; i.e., "very inspiring," "very innovative," and "Jeff was a very good presenter - super funny." The MCC band played some smooth jazz during lunch thanks to John Nyerges, Jazz Ensemble Director, VaPA - enjoyed by all. Thanks to these students for sharing their talents:
