COVID-19 Case Update & This Week's Testing Schedule
According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (link to CDC website) the COVID-19 transmission rate in Monroe County remains high. Mask wearing indoors in public is encouraged.
COVID-19 Testing Sessions Held Today and Tomorrow
Located in the Flynn Campus Center Forum (3-130), MCC’s Testing Center will be open 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. today, May 2 and 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, May 3. No appointment is necessary. MCC uses COVID-19 antigen rapid tests—a simple and more comfortable nasal test.
Last Week’s Testing Results:
Following are results received for MCC-administered COVID-19 tests during the week of April 25:
- 1 positive case was identified among students, faculty and staff who participated in MCC-administered testing during the week of April 25.
- 9 students are isolating off campus.
- 1 student is isolating on campus.
- No students are in quarantine and precautionary quarantine.
